Technology Killed The Man

He had two shared cloud folders: One for his first wife and one for the second.

He made a small mistake.

He uploaded the wrong file into the wrong folder.
The very wrong file.

He went silent.
Then looked at me, laughing nervously.
“I fixed it. I’ll go home now just to make sure everything is okay. I’ll update you later.”

He never did.

I was told that when they buried him, his face was still smiling.

Lessons learned: First, never fully trust technology. Second, never hide secrets from your wife. Third, having more than one wife is not unusual in war regions, where women outnumber men – as in Syria.

There’s a powerful lesson about fidelity and honesty in this! Unless you are very adept at sleeping with one eye open, or only you know where the family fortune is buried…

Oh my! Can’t you just imagine how he died? I’m sure it was slow and painful! I’m now trying to imagine having two husbands. The mind boggles! Thanks for the smile, my dear friend. ❤️

He was beheaded! So the body was buried while the head had a smile a looking…. Oh my God hehehe… Thank you very much, Linda. I’m happy I was able to draw a smile of your face. Two husbands are not common (or never heard of). But many wives were common in Syria years ago and are now due to the war… Which I can’t imagine too. I’m pulling my hair out with one wife only! 😀

We wives do have that effect on our husbands, don’t we? Hahaha! Please give my best to Rania and dear Sham.
