New Design

Last November, I brought new section to this website: Blog Directory (if you haven’t submitted your blog yet, please do it – 100% free).

Based on this, I had to do a lot of modifications on the design of this site. It was very long journey with a lot of work loads on many levels. There were a lot of errors too that caused me to restore backups many times. This resulted in loss of some comments or in a strange behavior of the site during this period. My apology for inconvenience if any.

For the first time since I used WordPress, I’m leaving Twenty Twelve theme. Yet the company is updating it continuously, it’s somehow outdated… I’m using Astra theme now. I tested GeneratePress theme too. You won’t go wrong with any. I might write more about those two themes later.

I’m also introducing my new logo.

The logo is designed by Pixo (www.pixo-adv.com | info@pixo-adv.com) very professional work and affordable prices. I highly recommend them.

A very nice logo! I’ve read a lot of good things about the Astra theme via WP news. Your site looks very nice and organized. I designed my logo using a software program and use it for other social media that doesn’t require my photo!

I realise I have so much more to learn. It is hard to keep up to date with everything and write. All while running a home and looking after my husband too. At the moment I’m trying to write two novels this year and two commissioned short stories. I’m not in a position to be able to pay for someone else to do this for me. Hopefully in the future I might be able to if my books are successful. I did pay to upgrade my blog to lose the advertising.
I like the idea of having a logo.
