This is my house
In Damascus, most of the old houses are similar.
The man in the video below is my Father. He used to clean the yard and do the maintenance of the house by his own hands like other old men do there. I talked about my Father in another post: Home is where the heart is.
I believe you know now the story behind my logo!
Your home is amazing. The older houses are more quaint. The older houses have more personality. The windows are just awesome the way they are shaped. The plants are gorgeous. An orange tree, how cool is that? The black and white floor is so attractive. I wish I had a home like yours. It says beauty and home all at once.
Wow, your words are impressive. Thank you very much. I’m inviting all to visit when things are settled hopefully
We can relate beauty and nature glorified
Thank you, Amrita.
Thanks for following my blog and introducing me to yours!
It’s a real pleasure. I’m glad I did it! Thank you too
You have a lovely home! Yeah, the windows are so cool, they give a grand look and feel to the house.
Thank you, Sheeba. Yes, almost all old houses there have the similar architecture. In a way that makes them warm in Winter and cool in Summer
What a grand old house with so many elegant details! I love the plants and flowers. So many mementos and memories in your house, Mohamad. 🙂
Thank you, Cheryl. Yes, it’s an amazing house that I hope to see someday… When that happens, I’ll invite all my friends here to spend some nights there for free 🙂 Most old houses in Damascus are like this. I found similar while I was in Rome and Florence.
Thank you so much for sharing this Beautiful Pictures of your house!yeats ago I visited Damasco and I love it so much ! Love fronte Rome Italia
Oh, Sherazade. That’s wonderful to know and hope you visit it again when the war ends; hopefully soon. A lot of houses in Florence and in Trastevere Roma have similar style to those of Damascus.
