This is my guest post on Roda’s blog / growingself.blog (Beautiful Seasons of Damascus) – comments were there too. As the blog was stopped, I’m allowing comments here. But the old ones were gone of course!

We enjoy the four seasons fully in Syria. I’m only concentrating on Damascus.

Autumn

Each breeze brings out the smell of promising rain.

Seasons of Damascus – Winter

It’s my favorite season in Damascus. The beauty of raining weather can’t be described in few words… Snow makes a visit or two during this season. The hot fava beans is very tasty in cold weather…

Seasons of Damascus – Spring

The most beautiful thing here is Jasmine… and a lot of roses and flowers that I don’t know their names.

Nights, picnics, boiled corn, …

I don’t have enough pictures by my own camera to cover this subject so I had to borrow most from internet that represent seasons of Damascus.
