   I so hope that we all find peace in the upcoming year(s), and open our hearts and give charity to those in need. Everyone deserves the chance to prosper. It is sad when so many barriers make that difficult.

   Heartbreaking! Thank you for the timely reminder of the suffering other children are going through at the moment. I consider myself extremely fortunate to live in a safe, beautiful country.
   There is a big backlash against the government here for the way they treat and deal with refugees from countries like Syria. My daughter has spent much of this year learning in school about the refugee crises, and I hope that by being educated and taught to live in someone else’s shoes, children from countries like mine will take their responsibility to help refugees seriously and sensitively.

That’s, teaching children to feel how others are suffering so they become real protectors/defenders of the gifts they have right now. Hope the next years will be full of peace for all children all over the world.
