Dear Santa,
I don’t believe that you’ll visit me to give me toys. Our house doesn’t have a chimney nor can our roof tolerate the weight of your reindeers. I also can’t write you. We don’t have socks without any hole to put my letter in there.
Actually, a lot of us are homeless now and might be living in tents where blankets are more important than toys.
Can you cross the closed or under siege borders?!
Can your reindeers really fly?! F-16s and Sukhois are the only things that are flying in our sky!
I’m sorry, Santa. Real Saints are those who fight evil so we (children) live in peace.
Regards,
Syrian child.

Danke schön, Geno. Yes, we should all feel how others are suffering. May 2018 be peaceful for everyone all over the world
This brought a lump to my throat. Thank you.
Thank you too, Meeka. I’m sorry; truth sometime is sad… Hope things will be better in the near future for all.
Sitting in my nice, safe house, it’s hard to understand how many men, women and children live in constant fear. :/
Thank you my friend. Our thoughts and prayers could help too 🙂

I bet every homeless person could sign this letter. Thought-provoking.
Thank you, Ennea. Yes, yet I don’t think it would change a lot. We just hope and pray 🙂
I was intrigued by this post. I’ve read other posts about letters to Santa but this was different.
Thank you, Crystal, for your kind words and compliment. We hope things will be better soon…
I hope so too. Here’s to things being better.🙌
Wow! That was heavy and a real reality check on what we should be valuing. Very poignant point. Thanks too for following me!
