All roads lead to Rome

I’ve been to Rome many times. A lot of my friends and colleagues keep asking me why I repeat my trips to Italy.  I have no answer. There is something in my heart about it. I adore Rome…

I enjoy walking in streets and engaging with people there. Living the experience and not only sights-seeing.

What about you, do you repeat your trips/places?

  1. I will get to Rome one of these days. But to be honest, my repeat trip is New York City! One, that is where the US Open is, and two, there is an energy there, I just love. I took my mother this past Christmas to see the tree at Rockefeller Center and the holiday lights! Very memorable…my mother loved it!

    • Thank you. Glad you like them. I’m sure there are many beautiful European cities. Unfortunately, I haven’t been but to Italy. I’ve been blamed by my friends that I haven’t visited other places in Europe while I was nearby there

  2. Lovely pictures! My husband and I plan to visit Italy next year, for the first time. We do have a few favorite vacation spots that we like to visit again and again. Right now the biggest attraction is the small town where our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren live! It is a four-hour flight from our city.

    • Thank you, Janice. I’m sure that a place where your kids (and grandchildren) are living is the most beautiful place. Wish you luck in your trip to Italy and hope you enjoy it. In Italy, Rome is a must. Tuscany (especially Lucca) is very beautiful – just stay away from earthquake areas. I’m sure you’ll love Venice too.

  3. I’ve never been to Rome but would love to go, especially now after looking at your fabulous photographs. The city that draws me back is Barcelona. It’s been a few years since I last went and I’m itching to go again.

    • Thank you very much George. I’m glad that you loved the pictures. I have more on Flickr. I just chose some for here. I’ve heard a lot about Barcelona. A lot of my friends, who went to Italy and Spain, told me they have a lot of similarities. They are Mediterranean countries after all – Syria is similar too!
