In time of disasters, people come back to religion or spirituals.
My colleagues (from different religions) and I had a wonderful conversation about religious music recently. Here are some of the music we were talking about…

In general, I like the hymns I hear in churches and I enjoyed that a lot while in Roma…

What diversity! Thanks for posting this Mohamad. It is very interesting to hear the music from different cultures. 🙂
You’re most welcome Linda. Glad you like it. Music has no religion or nationality! 😀
Love hearing music from different cultures. Thanks for the post.
One of the most incredible things I ever heard was from an Album called “Chant”. It was done by a bunch of monks trying to raise money for their monastery. Well it did pretty well (went platinum if I recall. They had to have it released by an actual record company, they couldn’t keep up with demand otherwise..
I haven’t heard it before. I’ll listen to that album for sure as I like church music. Thank you, William.
Great distiinction!!!
Thank you Somnath 🙂
Some of the greatest music that comes from deep inside the soul.
I totally agree, Darlene. Yet, I’m not that religious guy but I’ve always enjoyed such music…
