After spending some time on WordPress, I realized the importance of back links for blogs owners. Since that a lot are doing the same, I’m going to do it too. If you have a blog, you may please post its URL and title in a comment here; a short description is a plus.
Discussing this with WordPress Technical Support, they confirmed that links in comments are coded to be “nofollow”. I understand hence that a link to your blog in a comment doesn’t technically differ from recording a like to the post. However, it’s still an opportunity to know other bloggers and increase our community.

This post was published on February 18, 2017 and it was one of my top commented post ever (over 600 comments). I’m just closing it now (May 25, 2023) as there is no need for such posts any more. As you may already know, I initiated “MK Blog Directory” section for this purpose. You can promote your blog through it. Submit your blog site details if you haven’t already done it – totally free.

I’m Will Ablan, and I write from experience. Having been a Police Officer, a Soldier, and a Cowboy, I used to tell people about the cases I worked, the battles I’ve been in, the adventures I’ve been in, and they all said I should write a book. I kept telling them no one would believe them, and that Forrest Gump had already been written.
I finally settled for fictionalizing them, and swearing on a stack of Bibles that none of it ever happened (OK, OK, maybe 45% of it happened).
In addition to talking about writing, adventures, and so forth, I also like to talk about self defense (especially for women), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and stuff every human being should know.

My blog is called Adventures of a Food Allergy Dad. It is born out of our journey with food allergies and eosinophilic disorders. Our son has some pretty major food restrictions, so I find ways to make food safe for him. It is ostensibly a food blog with recipes, but I include other things such as product reviews and general thoughts on the life of a food allergy parent.
