Italy & Syria

I’ve always seen a similarity between Italy and Syria (mainly Rome and Damascus). People, food, weather, buildings, streets, alleys, shops, cafes, … I wish that someday I’d be able to better picture the similarities to make a real comparison. I’m sure those who were able to visit both will feel it too.

Thanks a lot.. I really hope Syria will be the attraction to all of us again..
I was really saddened by the news of destruction of Palmyra, but I hope it will be restored quickly enough, at least as far as possible..

I remember Italy reminding me of home in Syria. I always loved the olive trees in Syria.

We all pray things be fine there and we can get back to Syria to see those trees and drink from its water and walk into the beautiful alleys…
