In general, WordPress provides default domain to be used with your blog. For example, mohamadkarbi.wordpress.com. When you add a domain, you have additional address to be used with your blog; for example, mohamadkarbi.com.
You can purchase a domain directly from WordPress or from any other registrar and connect it in the settings area.
