If you are an avid traveler, you have to visit New York City at least once in your lifetime. New York City is the mecca of the modern world. Of course, visiting the tourist spots in Manhattan is always a must but visiting Queens, New York, one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in the world, is only for connoisseurs. I have been living ten years in New York City, and I will give you 3 reasons to visit Queens, New York, the neighborhood of the world!

New York’s Capital District
There is a misconception that when you tell someone that you live in the New York, they immediately think of New York City. New York is actually a geographic and culturally diverse state. I don’t live in New York City. I live in what we call Upstate New York or more specifically, the Capital District. We are called the Capital District because our State’s Capital, Albany, is located here.
