She: As always, you don’t have any special plan for today, do you?!
He: Hmm, I love you every day and no need to dedicate a special day for that!
She: …

A secret gem, sitting in South West England, nestles in hills between the southern mountains of Wales and the wide River Severn. The Forest of Dean is a location many around the world may recognise, since it’s been a location used in several popular movies, including Star Wars and the Harry Potter franchise.
You’ll find it easily on Google Maps.

As you can see from my previous post on Croatia, the Balkans was a new discovery for me this summer. Perhaps because of a personal connection, I found that the first part of our trip was far more educational and historical.
The first two things people said to me when I told them I was off to Croatia were that I would be hot, and that it would be expensive. Having little experience of that area of Europe, my expectations were limited. There’s nothing better than picking up a book or going to a film that you’ve read or heard absolutely nothing about, and then being swept away by it when you get going. For me, this was Croatia.
When you ask a person about the oldest structure in the world, many people would immediately think of the enchanting Taj Mahal. Though there are many recorded structures from earlier than 1653, the Taj Mahal comes to mind quickly due to its enchanting architecture and beauty.
