I’m learning Photoshop… So, here are some tips that I learned recently about cropping images into shapes. I thought it’d be helpful to share them here.

So, the question is: Do you design the photos you use on your blog posts by yourself or you just grab them from internet?
I use my own photos as much as possible.

Believe it or not, I’m still using Photoshop Elements 2.0 (from 2002 when I began drawing and painting) for corrections and resizing. Sometimes I use royalty-free photos I find online for my blog.
Thank you, Morgaine. I used to use the old version of Photoshop till late time too. I stopped using it when it became subscription not to mention that it was heavey on any laptop no matter how advanced is it. Now, with M1, it’s more smooth. Further, as I’m attending courses in Photoshop, I had to re-subscribe again… I use online photos and tweak them in most cases to avoid royality things.
I luv Photoshop, Mohamad, and have been using it for years! However, I mostly use Pixabay for the images I use on my blog. They have a great selection, are free to use, and leave me free to do the things I really enjoy!
My man K, on the other hand loves photography and videoing. Each to his own!

I always use my own photos and if someone has taken a photo of me, I always credit the photographer. 😉

I used to use PS a lot, taught it to my 5th graders. It is a wonderful program. Nicely done!
I use public domain pictures–Pixabay, Pexels. I also have an arrangement with Deposit Photos to use theirs with attribution. I do use some of mine, but I don’t take enough!

I don’t use Photoshop but I sometimes use a similar app called PhotoPaint so I’ll see if the process translates. Thanks for the tips.
I worked with PhotoPaint for sometime. To be honest, Affinity now is really competing with Photoshop. I can do almost everything I need on Affinity… it’s even lighter… Thank you, Meeka.
