Beaches are a wonderful place to visit, and I don’t think I’ve ever been to a beach that I wouldn’t visit again. After all, who can dislike any beach? What we may dislike is the “crowdedness” or possibly the lack of sea shells. If this is so, Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, also known as Rocky Point, Mexico, might just be calling you. I am truly humbled Mohamad Al Karbi has invited me to tell you all about my first visit to Puerto Peñasco, a small fishing/resort city next to the Sea of Cortez.
Sharon, Leadership2Mommyship
I'm Sharon, wife and mom of three children, ages ranging three different decades. Yes--that's right. Honestly though, I've served 22 years in the United States Air Force and well having back to back children-- while maintaining a career--was not on my radar! So my children are spread apart. Naturally, like any mother, we have a lot to say about our world and our personal experiences. And so I decided to start this blog. I hope it becomes tips to leadership growth and words of encouragement for everyone. Sometimes you'll hear from the mommyship side, and on other occasions I'll speak from a leadership perspective. And in some instances, you'll hear from both sides; after all, many of us are both parents and leaders.
So what am I up to now? Well for one: full-filling a dream to write more. I do a lot of grading other's works as I teach writing at a local community college; however, I cannot continue the pattern of reviewing others forever--I have to get out there and create my own ideas! So here is where my journey begins. I would love for you to join me! A voyage is pretty lonely when you're out there on your own.
