About Sharon, Leadership2Mommyship

I'm Sharon, wife and mom of three children, ages ranging three different decades. Yes--that's right. Honestly though, I've served 22 years in the United States Air Force and well having back to back children-- while maintaining a career--was not on my radar! So my children are spread apart. Naturally, like any mother, we have a lot to say about our world and our personal experiences. And so I decided to start this blog. I hope it becomes tips to leadership growth and words of encouragement for everyone. Sometimes you'll hear from the mommyship side, and on other occasions I'll speak from a leadership perspective. And in some instances, you'll hear from both sides; after all, many of us are both parents and leaders. So what am I up to now? Well for one: full-filling a dream to write more. I do a lot of grading other's works as I teach writing at a local community college; however, I cannot continue the pattern of reviewing others forever--I have to get out there and create my own ideas! So here is where my journey begins. I would love for you to join me! A voyage is pretty lonely when you're out there on your own.
